After learning a lot about these wonderful famous artists, they were excited to put their knowledge to practice with these pages.
Begin with this printable bundle. They are both coloring and handwriting pages.
Teach your children about these 10 famous artists together or one at a time.
Talk about when they were worn, historical events that happened during their lifetime and how that could have impacted their art.
Also, one of the pages has the flag and name of the country that each artist was from.
Find those countries on a map, find out what the flags look like and have your children color them to match.
But don’t stop there! Get into the Art aspect of it, too!
Come up with an activity inspired to create Art like the great ones, such as Andy Warhol or Salvador Dalí.
If you have to keep track of what your children learn to present to your state authorities, then make a folder with all of the wonderful pages they will make to create a beautiful unit study.
Maybe each of your children can pick one artist and make their own unique project.
Or do them all together as a family!
Use colored pencils, markers, watercolors or paints for these fun arts and crafts.
Or make a binder and add pages as you go more and more in depth into your Art, famous artists and Art History studies.
Maybe you can also add notebooking pages for children to research and add their own notes.
They can add things like fun facts, interesting information about their upbringing, Historical events of their time, personal notes on their favorite artwork by that artist and more.
